6 months in! Sweet! I've heard that you see the most visible change in the first six months, but I think I may be a bit behind the curve because 1.) it took me a while to have that pesky retained primary tooth pulled and 2.) there were 2 instances in which I waited 6-weeks between appointments instead of the standard 4.
With that being said, I've made great progress. My bottom row of teeth look amazing, the hole left from having the primary tooth pulled is closing up nicely, I don't have anymore crowding--in fact I currently have small gaps due to everything shifting to close in the aforementioned hole.
So, what now? My bottom teeth are basically good to go, they won't need much more work. For the top, I have teeth shifting from the center to the left, from the center to the right, and all are shifting back to correct my protrusion and fill in the gaps.
I've taken cleaning my teeth waaayy more seriously. I've seen people with those permanent white spots and I refuse to let that happen to me. I brush--once with a small, manual toothbrush that easily fits between my wires and again with my electric toothbrush; I floss--taking my time to get between every space and around each little bracket; then I rinse with peroxide--swishing vigorously for 1 minute. I do this all at night because it takes way to long in the morning. My morning routine is just brushing with my electric toothbrush.
