I've been in a full set of braces for a month now and its been an OK experience. Still the occasional annoyance--soreness from a tooth shifting or having my teeth shift so a bracket rubs my cheek (ouch!).
I visited my orthodontist today, he decided to up the gauge of the wire on my bottom teeth. They're lining up nicely. My top row is a bit more stubborn, so I'll have the same light gauge for another month. He replaced all my bands...I went with purple this time.
Random fact: My orthodontist likes to talk to me while his hand is in my mouth. It's an interesting dynamic...I mean, he asks questions and if I try to answer I get "Open".
I'm having my wisdom teeth and that oh-so-stubborn primary tooth pulled in May. Not looking forward to that experience :(
A little bit of a visible difference after only a month, I can also tell my bite is changing.
