Anyway, this is the first of, probably many, posts about my plans for decorating my new place. It took me forever to decorate my last apartment--I didn't get it the way I wanted until a few months before I moved out and I was there for three years! Things will be different this time around--easier because I'm actually starting with quite a bit of furniture, and strange because I have to consider the tastes of my roommate when decorating our shared areas--the living room and kitchen. That probably means no SC flag draped across the couch :)
My new place has a faux fireplace and I'm thinking of ways to decorate it. Good ole' Pinterest to the rescue! I'm loving the wood and Christmas light idea, the the basket of pillows and throws is nice too, but so are the vases of flower and candles. Decisions, decisions...
