On To The Next One

I wasn't exactly trying to be low key with my move, but I wasn't expecting my neighbor to call me all the way out either. She had to know where I was going, if I was moving in with a man, and when I answered no, that I wasn't a lesbian. No, again. Then she told me to be safe. lol. Oh, Baltimore :)

After calling it home for three years, I will miss Station North--in some ways, it's tons more fascinating than Mt. Vernon. It takes people a while to figure out if they like you, but once you're accepted they keep you in the know.

Moving was hard, physically and emotionally. Boxing and lifting and loading things, then cleaning my apartment from top to bottom--hard work. Seeing my whole world packed into a few boxes, and knowing that it meant the end of a phase, scary.

But, this new phase--I've needed it for a while. I'm super excited! I moved into an apartment full of grad students and new professionals, and have already been connected with a few people. The area is fun and young. Walking to the train station this morning, I bumped into a super cutie. I didn't stop to talk, but if he's a regular face--oh, snap :)

Hugs and kisses peeps,

Bethany
