End of Semester Musings

Hi guys,

After the most hectic end-of-semester ever, things are finally starting to calm down.

This semester, for my graduate studies, I had two huge group projects. One went really well, and the other was the worst group work experience I've ever had. It was unproductive and draining and I hated it. I feel like I could have completed the project by myself, twice, with the effort it took to get our project off the ground. But, it's almost done so..yay!

On a happy note, I had a meeting with Libraries administration and left really excited. Our dean brought up the topic of early promotion as a strong possibility for Assistant Professors and that's my new goal. If I could go up for tenure a year early that would be so amazing! #careergoal1

Also, Purdue has one of the nation's top-ranked programs for Human Centered Design and Development. If I fit a few doctoral level courses into my schedule that would make sense, right? But I have to wrap up this MS first. #careergoal2

Hugs and kisses peeps,

Bethany
