I was called for jury duty, and despite my best efforts to wiggle my way out, it looks like I'll be serving my civic duty to society next week. The real drag, I never bothered changing my permanent address from SC, so I'll have to travel back home. Bummer! This is my first time as a juror and I'm not excited.
On a positive note, I can catch the final days of the S.C. State fair. I love fair food!
I spent yesterday in an Elsevier workshop, met lots of researchers doing big things in Baltimore, and was rewarded with this super-cute bag. Love it!
