I love Autumn! I went apple and pumpkin picking a few weeks ago in Shenandoah Valley, it was so incredibly beautiful. *sigh* I picked a ton of apples, found the perfect pumpkin, conquered a corn maze, AND learned a secret crock-pot recipe for...BOILED PEANUTS! I miss eating boiled peanuts, they're a staple in SC but nearly impossible to find in Baltimore. I picked up some raw peanuts and am gonna try making a batch of my own.
Apple picking season is over for this year, but it's still a great time for wine tasting!
