It's Friday!
I serve one Reference Desk shift today, from 9-11.
I didn't have time to check my email or the news before (running late!), so I take care of that. Then I spend a few moments updating one of the brochures I've created to show students how to access library databases from off-campus.
Lunch at noon.
I spend the rest of the day completing a tutorial on improving my teaching techniques. I don't have a background in education and find it helpful to learn different teaching and learning styles. I'm also working to improve my presentation approach, especially voice projection techniques. I can be a bit soft-spoken, one of my librarian quirks :)
Just one more day until the end of my work week!
