Quilts

I love quilts. My grandmother makes beautiful quilts, they're something I grew up with and kinda took for granted until recently.

I've decided I want to learn to make quilts, maybe not now--I have a ton of other stuff on my plate, like those photography courses I've yet to begin, and classwork, and my job--but I am definitely making a quilt in the future. And I'm going to start with this pattern, because I like it--it's pretty and supposed to be easy. So what if it requires a sewing machine (I don't own one) and a level of creativity I'm not sure I possess. Hopefully the end result won't be like the shirt Denise sewed for Theo in that Cosby Show episode...you know the one:
