Trayvon Martin, Hoodie Protests, and Bedroom Remodeling

I was off work yesterday and ended up at a rally is defense of justice for Trayvon Martin. Unintentionally, because I didn't know about it. I went out to run a few errands, ran into the march downtown, and decided to check things out.

People in Baltimore are angry. Tension was high. I didn't stay very long.

Can't say I don't understand why. I've been trying to remain unbiased, waiting for more details to emerge before I pass judgement, but its been a slow process and as things stand now...the situation stinks. I hope they get to the bottom before things get even more out of hand.

On a brighter note, I furnished my bedroom this weekend, which involved me single-handedly assembling a full-sized bed frame from Ikea. I'm so proud of myself! I was in beast mode, putting my newly acquired Billy Blanks muscles to work :)

Pics of my new bedroom coming soon! Can't wait to show them off.

Hugs and kisses, peeps!
