My second season as a coach for Girls on the Run-DC is coming to an end. It's been awesome!
I coach grades 3-5 and my girls are wrapping up the Spring term with standardized testing. I forgot how much stress those tests cause. I'm not an advocate--I think they limit teachers' creativity and are an unreliable way to test what kids know. They are one of the reasons I chose not to pursue a career in primary education.
There must be a better way.
