I Work Out!

Girls on the Run is done for the season and I've been running a lot less...also, because I'm trying to pick up a few of the pounds I've lost since getting braces.


I've come up with a new workout plan for myself--more weight training, in addition to my diet of mostly lean chicken, fish, whole grains, leafy greens, nuts, fruits, and veggies. I'm mostly drinking water or homemade lightly sweetened black iced tea.


Some splurging, of course :)


Monday - Weight training
Tuesday - Cardio (i.e. a short, easy jog)
Wednesday - Rest
Thursday - Weight Training
Friday - Rest
Saturday - Weight Training
Sunday - Cardio (i.e. a full out, 45-minute run)


I'm too cheap for the gym...maybe I'll hit it up in the fall. I found a great home workout plan:
