Braces Update: Retained Primary Tooth Extraction

"Saintlike, you see I'm holy. Holey...Get It?"

One of my favorite Fred and George Weasley jokes, and after finally having a retained primary tooth pulled yesterday, I can relate:

It was a quick procedure, maybe 20 minutes. The surgeon swabbed the area around the tooth, then--the worst part, jabbed a needle in to numb things up. It hurt. Alot. I, who pride myself on not being a crybaby, shed a single tear. Then it was over. I didn't feel anything after that and he pulled the tooth about 30 seconds. I had to bite down on a cotton swab for the next 20 minutes, and that was it. Hope this hole doesn't last too long. Thank God its not too noticeable.

My braces can continue to pull everything together now...things were at a bit of a standstill with that extra tooth in the way. Hopefully, I'm done with oral surgery. Those experiences were a pain...literally.

Hugs and kisses peeps,

Bethany
