I stumbled across TYP back in March, remember that post? I thought the model, Zaruta, was amazing. I've been following TYP and The Coiffure Project (TCP) since then.
I'm the organizer for a social club that meets monthly to discuss issues surrounding natural hair and other randomness. Our July meet was open to men. I decided to invite Glenford Nunez, the photographer behind TCP. He came! It was fun.
I was invited to his studio for a shoot. *blush*
I am not photogenic. I have no delusions of being anyone's model (except, maybe, my future man). In fact, I am not a fan of taking pictures. And, to top everything off, I'm shy.
But, Glen turned out to be nice and I fumbled through the shoot well enough to come out with this portrait:
Nice, right? Now I'm a small part of the awesomeness. It feels good :)
Anyway, TCP should be an exhibit. It needs funding. Click here to see how you can contribute.
Hugs and kisses peeps,
Bethany
