Detox

I decided to start a detox this week. I've pretty much completely reformulated my diet and workout regiment, and I think a detox is the final step in turning the page. I'm on Day Three of the the Whole Foods Complete Body Cleanse. It's a two week kit that costs $12. The pills are huge, you have to take like 10 a day (no exxageration!), and I was really tired yesterday (day two), but its been OK.

I'm eating lots of greens and whole grains and fruits...basically lots of salads and smoothies. I love salad and I have a new found love for chilies, so I've been trying ways to combine both. Some of my newest fave salads here:

Black Bean and Quinoa Salad
Mediterranean Feta Quinoa Salad
Strawberry Spinach Salad

I'll keep you updated! And, I haven't forgotten about the updates on my weight training and how my lemon-parsley infusion is clearing up my face...look for it soon!
