Hey Peeps!
I'm back! I've missed blogging :) Got lots to share--a new recipe, my academic progress, a braces update, my place as one of the faces for The Coiffure Project (that actually happened...jeesh!).
Anyway, I'll start with my recipe for the week. A splurge, Salted Espresso Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies...yummy!
Splurging reminds me, my mission to put on muscle mass is going OK. I just don't eat enough, point blank. I still have to remind myself to stop and eat three square meals, and not fast food. NO FAST FOOD!!!
I at least eat my share of CSA veggies every week. My neighbor and I split a full CSA from Simmer Rock Farms in Baltimore. Honestly, I've been a bit disappointed. The veggies are awesome and the weekly selection is good, but the share sizes are a bit small and worse, NO FRUIT! That makes me sad.
More positively, I found most of the pounds I lost after braces. I run twice a week, one 5-7 miler and one quick jog. I'm still on the muscle workout I mentioned in an earlier post. I won't lie, its been tougher than I expected, bad eating habits are hard to break...
I did take a few 'Before' pics to share, but I'm too much of a punk to post them :)
