Pantry Stocking, ZipCars, and Other Updates

Onward with my health quest, but since starting to plan out meals I've realized my pantry lacks the basics. I only have a vague idea of what a pantry should have--flour, sugar, bread crumbs, spices. This list by Eating Well really helped me figure out what else I should include in my regular rotation. I'll gradually incorporate more things.

The job. *sigh* The second and third weeks of class are killers for a librarian. I've been so busy...not complaining because my job is so chill most of the time, but I'm definitely putting in work this week teaching and leading orientations and making sure we have the textbooks and resource access students need. I'm in Gadget mode to keep up with it all--remember him? Go Go Gadget <3

Despite work being busy, I've had a good week. I finally got a new TV...bought it last week while it was on sale at Target.com. It was delivered yesterday. I set it up last night and it looks great! 26" is perfect for my space. I just need to upgrade my cable box to HD for the best picture quality. Wooo Hooo!

In other great news, I joined the Y! Just my luck that they were running a special this week that waived the usual $75 membership fee. And, I get a student discount that knocked my monthly rate to $54. Looking forward to those BodyPump and BodySculpt classes, and getting every penny's worth.

I joined ZipCar! Yay! I'm so excited to have access to a car when I want it. I get a university discount that makes it very affordable and there's a ZipCar station a couple of blocks from my home. I'll be testing it out with a weekend trip to Ikea. They just launched this overnight Zip that I'm sure I'll take advantage of too.
