I spent Labor Day just outside of
Grand Haven, Michigan. A few friends and I rented a lake house and spent the Labor Day holiday kayaking, biking, cooking over a campfire, shopping in the cozy downtown district, and enjoying really good food (i.e. pizza at Fricano's) and wine.
It was my first time on Lake Michigan and the fresh water was surprising--I'm used to the salty Atlantic. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. I was impressed.
I got a great workout between kayaking, biking, and walking the beach. Such a relaxing time and lots of fun :)
