It's Wednesday. Let me tell you about my week so far.
Saturday-Tuesday I attended the MAC/MLA Conference in Baltimore, MD. I had a great time, learned a lot, met some great people, saw a few I haven't seen since last year. But you know conferences--you're on nonstop for 12 hours--listening and learning and presenting and networking. As an introvert, I think it was all the networking that I found most draining. Hours on hours of it. I'm so tired...and its only Wednesday and I have to work the rest of the week. Blah.
I made it even harder on myself last night by staying up to watch the debates--and by drinking a Coke after 7 pm. Things I knew I shouldn't do, but couldn't help doing anyway. It took all my energy to roll out of bed at 5 am this morning. I almost ditched my GOTR team. But I didn't. I got up and did my thing and in 45 minutes, I get to leave work. Yes!
Two more days of the J-O-B, then I'm going on another hiking trip. Can't wait.
