| HS Letter Days <3 |
I was a good student in high school, but I would occasionally spend entire school days, countless Crayola markers, glitter glue, and packages of stickers, constructing letters. My friends and I didn't get cell phones until college, and in that pre-texting era, letters were a primary means of communication. It was serious business, hinged around how creatively you could create patterns and how well your letters were formed. Ironically, its one of my first thoughts when reminiscing about high school. I loved it.
I still have a soft spot for good handwriting--especially calligraphy. Reading this post in my Reader reminded me of that. Who knew handwriting could be such serious business.
I have a couple of unused journals at home--I'm gonna attempt a few exercises. My cursive could use improvement :)
Hugs and kisses peeps,
Bethany
