I really am very excited to be driving home next week. I've come up with a list of travel essentials for the trip.
1.) The Hobbit audiobook--at 11 hrs it should get me home, even if traffic is horrible.
2.) Pandora/iTunes Mix--in case I get tired of The Hobbit and want to jam out.
3.) 2 lbs of Raspberry Beret Trail Mix--to be split between getting there and getting back; via Whole Foods' scoop-what-you-need section. So yummy!
4.) Trader Joe's Soft and Juicy Mango-- speechlessly delicious
4.) Dr. Pepper-- Soda! I usually avoid buying soda because I'll finish off a 2-liter in a day--easily. This is a treat.
5.) Water--because it's good for me and will force me to stop and stretch every 2-3 hours.
6.) Life of Pi audiobook-- for the trip back, another 11 hr run.
Of course there are the other emergency essentials like a blanket, a car phone charger, and a travel first aid kit (leftover from my car ownership days).
I think I'm ready!
Hugs and kisses peeps,
Bethany
