Since I traded in the trail for the gym, it's been ages since I've been running. I'm so hyped about tonight's 5K dance party. Got my black gear and my glow-in-the-dark stuff and I'm ready.
I don't expect to get much running in...the last applicant count was somewhere like seven thousand or something crazy. I just want to be there :)

***Update: Either I'm still a beast on the track, or this 5K was not a 5K and was actually something much shorter. It was so easy. We got to the end and I was like..."wait...do they want us to lap around?" Nope. It was the finish line and I wasn't even warmed up yet. In fact, I was freezing! They had us wait in the cold for an hour and a half before starting. The Stadium/Armory venue was a little bit lame too.
But, it was fun. I got to run with friends and the music was good and it was very organized and it was for a good cause. And I got to run again--that was the sweetest part. I miss the trail.
