Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Please

Starbucks Peppermint Hot Chocolate is my pep-me-up drink. I needed it this morning after my commute--it was delayed, again. Three times in a row and more times in the past few months than ever before.

It's a 45-minute train ride from my place to work, and I love my commute most of the time--especially in the mornings. I can read or listen to the news or music or whatever. It's a great way to start the day. But none of that this morning, just a conversation that ended badly and another day of getting to the office later than I'd planned.

And it got really chilly, really quickly. What's up with that? It was a good morning for hot chocolate.

But,  it's Friday! Not just any Friday, but that Friday. You know the one...yes. Payday :)

One of my besties is having a birthday party tonight, I've got a librarian brunch planned for tomorrow, and I get to hang out with The Batman (yes, I'm going to call him that from now on). It should be good times.

I've been slacking with my updates-- you need to know that my teeth are moving and I've been in the kitchen! Look for those soon :)
