A great explanation of how IA and programming overlap: Programming for Information Architects by Andrew Otwell
Boxes and Arrows is trying to revive itself, I think they've fallen off in recent years, buy they're working to become more relevant for today's IA community. A lot of the older articles are still very helpful for newcomers, though.
