"Little things come together to create a sum much greater than the whole."That moment when you realize that all the decisions you made, good and bad, mattered and put you exactly where you belong. And that's a pretty good place to be. That's how I feel today.
News of another random shooting, this one targeting babies, left me so heartbroken, so appreciative for being here and able to enjoy life. That you can be in a place you visit everyday, somewhere you feel safe--school, work, home--and be murdered there, for no reason besides timing and a crazy person, is beyond scary. It sucks that it took a tragedy to remind me of how fragile life is--I won't forget it so easily.
