Yes, I was one of the dorky grade school kids who read the Lord of the Rings series and loved it. And yes, the entire LOTR series is YA literature, i.e. children's stories. The movies...not so much. I was kinda bummed that the movie series didn't begin with The Hobbit, but they were all so great that I just forgot about it.
But now it's coming...it's almost here...three more days...The Hobbit movie! Yes!
