It's here! Winter Break! Well, almost here. Finals wrap up this Tuesday and Winter Break officially starts Wednesday. I'm so excited!

This break I'm spending as much time as possible with friends and family. That means lots of travel--definitely down south, up north a bit, and maybe out west. Racking up on Starbucks mugs :)
I'm not sure how much travel time I'll have in 2013--it looks like I'll be working a lot. Gotta get the fun in while I can :)
This year, I came up with New Year's resolutions!
1.) Take more pictures!
2.) Stop overdrafting my checking account. A chronic, expensive problem of mine.
3.) Listen, observe, and stay in touch with friends.
4.) Build a name in the IA world.
5.) Check the splurging--especially on clothes.
6.) Take a personal finance class and make sure my money is working as smartly as possible.
7.) Keep cooking. It's so easy to just eat out...must resist temptation.
8.) Spoil myself--maybe a direct contradiction to #5 but whatevs. The occasional pedicure or road trip is ok.
9.) Attend more Ravens and Orioles games!
10.) Be more open to love. I'm a lot of a cynical romantic. I realize that love that works best is about self-sacrifice and compromise and thinking as a team, instead of as an individual and lots, lots, lots of working and communicating then living with the same person, all the time, for the rest of your life. Then, when you think you've got that down, you get to raise kids. Ahhh! But, it's got serious perks too. Enough to make me want to work at it...with the right person :)
That's my list.
Hugs and kisses peeps,
Bethany
