MAC Lip Color Suggestions for Brown-Skinned Ladies/Black Girls

I could hug Afrobella! I've been a huge fan of MAC Cosmetics since college, when the awesomest make-up artist gave me my first full-face makeover. She was an older, white woman from LA and she really knew her stuff. As a medium-brown skinned, black girl MAC cosmetics gave me something I had trouble finding on the shelves of my local drug store.

If I'm wearing any make-up these days, it's lip color. If I'm really feeling girly, I'll throw in a bit of eye-liner and mascara. And occasionally I'll go all out with a full face of make-up.

Lip color happens to be the most challenging make-up to purchase, in my personal experience. It's so versatile--you can wear it solo or layer it with lip liner or mix it with another color or top it with a gloss. Fun, but it can be intimidating and time consuming, testing all those colors.
