217 and Oatmeal

One of these things is not like the others, one of these things doesn't belong...

217. My blood pressure number. That is high--it shouldn't be over 200.

A few months ago I gave up my daily morning bowl of oatmeal for fruit smoothies. It looks like the oatmeal was doing me a lot more favors.

Oh, oatmeal!!! I'm sorry I didn't think you were cool or sexy enough. You were the best I ever had and I will learn to love you, I promise! Just come back and put it down. Please!

I'm taking my oatmeal back. Why do I need? Let me share a list with you:

High Cholesterol Foods: hamburgers, sausages,lunch meat, sour cream, cheese, eggs,butter, pastry, ice cream, whole-fat dairy products, chocolate,fried food and fast food<<<<<Yay! Give me seconds.

Low Cholestrol Foods: lean meats, skinless poultry, fish, low-fat dairy products, fruit desserts, gelatin dessert, vegetables, pasta, and legumes (peas and beans)<<<<<Eh. It was alright.

Oh the sorrowful plight of healthy eaters. Why must it be this way? Why?

Anyway, for the first time ever my check-up hasn't been flawless. I've got something to work on.
