Ok, that title might be a tiny bit misleading. Yesterday wasn't technically my birthday--it's today! But, I'm going to count it as a birthday celebration because it was beautiful and amazing.
I went to the Tidal Basin in DC to check out the Cherry Blossoms--it's the last weekend they're in full bloom and I've never been to see them! I went paddleboating, listened to Japanese drummers perform, had lunch at Mitsitam Cafe in the Museum of Native American History, and wrapped up the evening with dinner at Vidalia.
It's been an awesome weekend--the weather has been gorgeous; Lianne dazzled my Friday, Saturday was awesome, and today--I'm off to church, then brunch, then heading off to watch Alicia Keys and Miguel set DC on fire! Yes!
