IBM's Big Data University: A ton of free e-resources related to managing big data.
I'm smiling at all the ebooks on Coding languages. I'm pretty comfortable with Java and C++. I'm tackling Perl in my free time, then Ruby. After my next Stats class, I'll learn R programming language.
Anyway, I think the most valuable resource for right now is Getting Started with DB2-Express-C.
The e-books available here have corresponding courses at Big Data University. You can take those any time, at your own speed, and earn a certificate once you pass the final exam. You also get all the software you need, free! I haven't dived into a class just yet. Another post, another time--but get started here if you're interested in information and data management.
Hugs and kisses peeps,
Bethany
