Smoothies for Great Skin and Hair

A part of my hair growth challenge that I haven't mentioned is diet. My hair loves loves loves Hair, Skin, and Nail vitamins. I'm also drinking green smoothies--they're an easy, healthy breakfast and a great way to get more fruit and veggies into my diet. Some of my favorite green smoothie blends below:

Alligator Pear* and Pineapple Smoothe

3/4 C Water
2 C frozen Pineapple
1/4 Avocado
1 frozen Banana
2 C Fresh Spinach
1/2 C Ice Cubes

Combine ingredients and blend until smooth.
* alligator pear = avocado

Peaches and Green Smoothie  ♪ I Need It Cause You Know That I'm A Fiend ♪-- A 112 remix for your morning :)

1 C Coconut Milk, or your choice of milk--Almond works well too
1 frozen Banana
2 C fresh Spinach
1 1/4 C frozen Peaches
1/2 C frozen Pineapple

Combine ingredients and blend until smooth.

Flax Seed Green Smoothie

1/2 C Water
2 Tbs ground Flax Seeds
1 Orange, segmented
1 frozen Banana
2 C Spinach
1/2 C frozen Pineapple

Classic Green Smoothie

1 C Almond Milk, or milk of choice
1 Tb Lemon Juice
1/2 Tb Coconut Oil
1 frozen Banana
1 large Gala Apple, or sweet apple of choice
1 tsp grated Ginger
1/2 English Cucumber, peeled and chopped
2 C Spinach
1Tb ground Flax Seeds
1 Tb Peanut Butter, or other nut butter
2-3 ice cubes
Protein Powder of choice, optional

Combine ingredients and blend until smooth.
