I think I'm going to start a Youtube channel called Bethany in the Kitchen, a cooking channel featuring a new recipe each week. It'll force me to cook at least once a week and video edits will be my way of blowing off stress. I'm still finalizing things, but look for my first video in the next couple of weeks--I'll post it here an on Youtube.
New pots and pans have been on my wish list for a while now, and with the Macy's Home Sale going on, now is a great time to buy them. I'd love a set of All-Clad pans, but even at the sale price of $700, those will have to wait. I can afford the not-so-well-off hybrid child, the Emeril by All-Clad set, which is a much more reasonably priced $200. So pretty. Can't wait to get those in my kitchen!'
I'm also looking to upgrade my blender. The engine on the one I currently have has gotten so much weaker since I purchased it--only about a year ago. It came with a food processor attachment that is still amazing, but the blending capacity, meh. I'm looking at refurbished Blendtec or Vitamix models. That purchase won't be for another few months though.
My kitchen is going to be amazing! I've been collecting red Kitchenaid cooking tools and utensils, I pick something up every time I visit Marshall's--uniformity! I'm transferring the bags of spices I buy in bulk from the local Halaal market to canning jars with these cute labels--an idea I got from a local cafe. So cute!
