One of my besties is getting married in Bali this May--so exciting! We've been setting up details--we because I'm super curious about the wedding planning process and while I'm not an official event planner, hosting Meetups and playing hostess to all the events that occur in my super gorgeous work library has given me enough valuable skills to at least lend a hand.I was over at my favorite food blog, CaribbeanPot.com, when an ad for iLandGuide caught my eye. I clicked it, thinking it would cover the Caribbean Islands, but there's an app for Bali and other Asian islands. It's a travel guide app for smartphones that focuses on islands--it gives maps, points of interest, attractions, activities, shopping and sales, local events; and best of all, it works offline so you don't have to worry about coverage or worse, getting a huge bill. It's iPhone and Droid compatible--sorry Blackberry users!
Such a random, fun find. It'll be great because lots of guests, me included, are exploring for a few days before and after the nuptials. I'm already scoping the list for places to check out :)Hugs peeps,
