The Dive: Renovating a Rowhome

After working for the past year to get my financial house in order and build my credit and savings, I'm
taking the dive. I'm purchasing a vacant home in Baltimore City and rehabbing that joint!

I've been wanting to make the move for a while now, but I wanted to make sure that the money I make from my side gig was going to remain constant. It has--in fact, it's increased steadily over the past months. That, combined with my full-time salary and minimal debt, puts me in good shape for home ownership.

It's a huge step for me, and I'm super excited. I'm making the final decisions on a realtor this week and I've got my eye on a vacant in my old neighborhood, Station North. The Patterson Park area has my eye too.

I've subscribed to Architectural Digest for design ideas, been watching tons of HGTV, and chatting with a few friends who've renovated :) It'll be a long process and lots of work, but I'm in love with the idea of making a home whatever I want it to be.

Say a prayer or wish me luck with the process.

Hugs and kisses peeps,

Bethany
