I was completely bummed earlier this week about my vacation budget being blown. I really wanted to chill out before school starts in early September, but I only have about $400 left in my budget. I was prepping to staycation in DC, when one of my besties suggested we check out Travelzoo. They have amazing deals! We decided to drive up to New Hampshire for a quick 2-day getaway in the mountains. It's super affordable--splitting the voucher, we'll each pay $135 for two nights in a lodge, breakfast, and dinner for one night; I'm factoring in another $60 for the remaining meals, and $150 for gas/tolls = $345. I'll have a few extra dollars leftover in case we decide to do something other than lounge around and explore outdoors.I've never been to New Hampshire. It's not the
Caribbean getaway I was hoping for, but I'm excited about it. It looks absolutely gorgeous.
