Me, holding it down for the black people in my year. Because I'm the only one. Ok, the whole class consists of 11 people, so maybe those statistics aren't terrible, but still. The work I put out has to be the best--I can't help but feel competitive. That + a poorly timed move (what was I thinking?) + my job means I've earned a little bit of shopping privileges. My budget agreed, to the tune of giving me $150 to play around with. I had fun over at the Sale section of asos.com. I love, love, love the petite section there. It's so well organized--you can shop by garment type, price point, size and there are a ton of options. They're my go to if I'm on the hunt for maxi dresses, bodysuits, and jumpsuits that won't be too long. The site is just overall dope. The newly formed web designer in me is impressed. Nicely done!
Y'all know I love scarves, and even with Fall knocking, I managed to score a few on the cheap.
First up, a Tiger Print Snood, marked down to $13.50 from an original $27.00. I've been looking for an animal print scarf, the bright trim was an added bonus on this one.
Next, more animal print. This one with a bolder stripe through the body of the scarf. It was marked down to $11.81 from $27.00.
This next one is my favorite, it's an absolutely gorgeous Aztec print. Marked down to $13.50 from an original $33.75

The next item up, I'm thinking will be great to wear to a wedding, holiday party, or something along those lines. I don't have any actual plans for it at the moment, but I thought it was super cute. It was a steal, marked down to $40.50 from an original $202.51
Next up--I'm loving this one! The print, the neckline, the asymmetric cut. I think I can pair it with a blazer and get away with wearing it to work, then transforming for a night out. It was marked down to $27.00 from $54.00.
Finally, these wide-legged black pants, marked down to $25.31 from an original $37.13.
I stayed in budget, spending a total of $131.63, shipping was free.
Maybe I'll post a few pics with me modeling a few of these. I'll try.
