New Reads: Boy Meets Girl, Death by Living, and Lonely Planet's Brazil

New books!

Revisiting a college throwback with Boy Meets Girl: Say Hello to Courtship--I read it through the first time with my college boo/first BF and it really put us on the same page and gave us meaningful things to discuss. I loved that we started that way, it gave our relationship such a solid foundation.

Death by Living: Life is Meant to be Spent--a book about living in the moment, for the moment. The line that convinced me to buy the book is lovely: "When we race across the wet concrete of time without purpose, without goals, without laughter and love and sacrifice, then we fail in our mortal moment. We race toward our inevitable ends without artistry and without beauty".

Lonely Planet's Brazil--a travel guide. I'm scoping out the best places in between Rio and Salvador. I loveeee the Lonely Planet line because they give options according to time and budget. Their recommendations are usually on point too. Classes are hard y'all. I can't say how much I'm looking forward to escaping for a week.

Hugs and kisses peeps,

Bethany
