It's official--with the exception of me, the 6 ladies from my old small group are married or engaged. And, I'm cool with that. First off, it makes me eligible to be a bridesmaid. #winning. And, while I love the idea of having a man around permanently, I'm not exactly trying to hurry that process. I'm not sure I'd ever finish a dissertation with the distraction of a hubbie--unless he was also an amazing motivator.
The couple announced the engagement at the start of October, and they're having the wedding in February. Short engagements seem to be a trend with my Christian friends...

And, can I throw a little something in for my favorite love song at the moment--J. Monae's Primetime feat. Miguel. That dress though--soooo bad! Perfect going out gear, classy and sexy. Those two make a super cute couple--I love it!
