Kale and Spinach Smoothie Cubes: A Fresh Greens Saver

Last week I came across a super deal at the local farmer's market. It was the end of the day, and one of the farmers was practically giving away greens. I got three grocery bags stuffed with spinach and kale for $6. Score! The dilemma: how to eat so many greens while they were still fresh. The solution: freeze them in cubes! I mostly eat kale and spinach in smoothies, so the tutorial below was a real save.



So nifty! I love the idea of using green tea in place of water.
