bestie introduced me to one of her Houston besties, who hipped me to her native home and its Afro-Caribbean culture--the super gorgeous island of San Andrés. A must see if I'm vacaying to Panama--the weather will be great and they speak English as well as Spanish! I'd never even heard of the place before. I am determined to drag The Batman to the island at some point during our Panama excursion.
Did I mention--The Batman is also a fisherman. Apparently, Panama has a few amazing fishing spots. He'll fish while I surf, because he's not really feeling the latter. I'm cool with that :)
Anyway, turns out said San Andrés chica is moving to DC in the Spring. #yaaaassss I predict fun times.
And a shoutout to my Houston bestie, who makes networking easy for me. She also introed me to my Brazil bestie. She is officially dope. I will make and mail her a dope.com card to carry in her wallet and hope that she too will move back to DC soon. lol
