Medical Librarianship is still the heart of what I do, so I was excited when NN/LM MAR opened the Research Data Management Symposium to librarians outside its region, and for free! I filled out my registration application as soon as I got the email and landed a spot. Can't wait to attend!The symposium is in NYC, and I'm thinking of trying Air Bnb for a cheap one night stay. One of my coworkers has been using it for years and swears by it, and it could be even cheaper than the friends and family rate at Starwood Hotels. I'll let y'all know how that goes.
