I'm brainstorming ideas for the student poster session of the IEEE IPCC 2014 conference. I thought IEEE was only for Electrical Engineers, but I was wrong. It's also for people interested in technical communication--i.e. Interaction Design. OK, cool. IEEE conferences are a mix of undergrads, grads, and professional engineers. I can't remember the last time I was at a conference with undergraduates, lol. I'm thinking I'll construct a fancy infograph. Free money if I win! And I've got my eye on that diversity scholarship too. *thinking*
I thought I wouldn't do that much traveling this year, me being a broke-ish student and all. Boy, was I wrong. So many opportunities to take advantage of! I need to center myself, make a list of deadlines, and prioritize.
