in my workouts, out of the gym and into the great outdoors.
1.) Swim instruction classes--Once a week at the Y I instruct beginning and intermediate swim techniques.
2.) Running outdoors #feigning #bringmybabyback
3.) Yoga for Runners. Tight hamstrings be banished. I tried a traditional yoga class in college and hated it. I'm hoping I can get with this class because it's outdoors, it incorporates lots of aerobics, and I think I have more patience for technique now that I'm older. The latter might just be wishful thinking. :)
4.) I'm thinking about joining a intramural volleyball team. TBA
The Batman is joining me in the gym! He signed up for an intramural basketball team and I watched his first game a few nights ago. Let's just say he has a lot of room for improvement, lol. After the game he looked at me with sad puppy eyes and said, "I used to be a lot better". Prove it, baby! I have high hopes :)
