The Hit List: Updated Travel 2014

It's March and I'm well into my goal of traveling to 5 international destinations this year, having already hit up Panama and Toronto. Panama was gorgeous--we spent a day in Panama City, 3 days up and down the Caribbean Coast, and then 2 days in San Andres. San Andres blew my mind. A friend arranged for us to meet up with her cousin, who showed us the best places to eat, hang, and dance. It was so chill and comfy. The food was delicious. Lots of seafood, chiles, rice and beans, and  coconut. The weather was perfect. The people were so chill, nice, and really helpful. Food was cheap. The beach scene one week post-Carnival was hopping. omg. I got so lazy and spoiled. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The Batman and I hit up Panama with his bestest and his wife--double date vacay! Where they do that at? lol. We had so much fun kicking it with them! They live in Toronto and we don't get to hang too often, so a whole week with them in warm, balmy weather was a treasure. With the cold we all faced at home, if you had only given us the warm sunshine we would have been happy--and we got a whole week's worth! It didn't rain once.

Anyway, said wifey turned 30 a couple of weeks ago so The Batman and I hit up Toronto to celebrate. I'd only been to Canada one time prior to that--to Windsor, just across the water from Detroit, on a family vacation when I was like 12. This latest trip was a quick weekend getaway and the temperature was freezing, so I didn't get to see a whole lot of Toronto. #sadface But, I didn't realize how quick of a trip it can be. We drove, but it would've only taken a couple of hours to fly up and flight prices are really reasonable. I can't wait to visit again in the summer.

I haven't  uploaded any photos. I actually managed to misplace the cord to my camera charger. I suspect it got mixed in with someone else's luggage. I'll post images as soon as I sort out that issue.

And, a few domestic trips--NYC (does that still even count?), Chicago, Miami with my lil brothers (#yay #happydance), Detroit, Philly, Research Triangle--NC.
