Beach days for days and days this Spring and Summer. My beach wardrobe is simple and it fits easily into my carry-on--a couple of bikinis, a one-piece suit, lots of maxi dresses and skirts, comfy shoes and sandals, a nice dress, a pair of pumps, and more recently, a new favorite--beach pants!
I refreshed my Toms collection--I hadn't bought a pair in years so I was well overdue. Toms recently collaborated with Haitian artists for the Haiti Artists Collective. Of course I had to have a pair. These dancing women reminded me of art from home in the Carolinas and things I've seen in Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin/South America.
Grey is one of my go-to neutrals, add sparkle and giraffe print and I'm sold
And a matching Olive pair for me and the boo.
I added beach pants to my vacation wardrobe for the first time during my latest trip to Brazil, and they were perfect for strolling around town. They don't capture sand and dry really quickly. And, I don't always want to show off my sexy so they are a nice option.
Since then, I picked up a few more pairs via Asos.com:
In town, I love these pants with a crop top, a big hat, and a beach bag. Then its super easy to strip down to my suit and go for a swim.
