Thanksgiving Dessert: No-Bake Peanut Butter Pie

For the first time in forever--this has actually never happened--my mom did not host Thanksgiving dinner. #saywhat

It was at my grandma's house and all I had to do was bring a dish. I chose a simple dessert--my favorite combo of chocolate and peanut butter, a No-Bake Peanut Butter Pie. This pie is so quick and easy y'all, it takes less than half an hour to whip together and tastes delicious.

If you're concerned about calories, use the light versions of cream cheese and Cool-Whip.

This was such a hit with my family and so incredibly easy, I think I'll be re-visiting it for the office holiday potluck...and for my turn for snacks at small group...and for whenever else I can get away with making it :)

Decadent Peanut Butter Pie
  • 1 C Creamy Peanut Butter, plus 2 Tb (Reese's Peanut Butter works especially well)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 C Sugar
  • 12 oz Cool-Whip, thawed
  • 1 chocolate pie crust
  • 11.75 oz jar of Smuckers Hot Fudge Topping
  1. BEAT together 1 cup peanut butter, cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with an electric mixer on medium, until well combined. Gently mix in 3 cups whipped topping until thoroughly combined. Spoon mixture into pie shell. Using a spatula, smooth mixture to edges of pie.
  2. RESERVE 2 tablespoons of hot fudge topping in a bowl and set aside. Microwave remaining topping on HIGH (100% power) for 1 minute. Stir. Spread topping over pie, covering entire peanut butter layer. Refrigerate until set. Spread remaining whipped topping (1 1/2 cups), over hot fudge layer, being careful not to mix the two layers.
  3. Heat bowl of remaining fudge for 30 seconds. Use a fork to artfully drizzle fudge across the top of the pie. Place remaining 2 tablespoons peanut butter in a bowl and heat for 20 seconds. Repeat artful drizzling step :)
  4. Eat immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
