This year I came up with a list of things I want to achieve. One of them is to take advantage of the last few courses of my MS requirements to try to become the ever elusive UX unicorn. Unicorns are bosses, but you have to know all the things:
- HTML--all the rules of web layout and structuring
- CSS3--all the means for page styling and formatting
- Javascript--client and server actions and controls
- Java and Ruby--back-end development
- PHP--premier server side processing
- A bit about SQL--back end database manipulation
- Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator
- UX research and wireframing
- UI design and prototyping: LayerVault, Axure, Sketch, OmniGraffle, inVision, proto.io, Flywheel, Plaid, Froont
I'm so ready to take my work, and portfolio, to another level this semester!
Hugs and kisses peeps,
Bethany
