The possibility of NYC day trips makes living in Baltimore so much fun--it's easy to hop on the Acela and be in the Big Apple in a couple of hours. On my latest trip, I was hipped to Cafe Himalaya, a Tibetan spot in East Village. It's tiny, a hole in the wall with amazing, authentic cuisine. It had me reminiscing on my too brief time in Bali. On my plate:
Luksha Shamdey--Himalayan-style lamb curry with potato, served with basmati rice
Paratha--whole wheat indian bread
Sho Shindok--homemade yogurt with fresh fruit
and Thai iced tea to wash it all down.
Everything was delicious. #yum The service was excellent.
Go.
Just do it!
Hugs and kisses peeps,
Bethany
