I had the craziest summer, spanning three continents and about 6 states. I've never been so happy to be home. I've actually reached the point where I'm tired of traveling.
A few months ago I submitted my first ever article proposal and it was selected for publication with no major edits! #somuchwin It's an article on hackathon planning and participation for librarians, 'Hackathon Planning and Participation Strategies for Non-Techie Librarians'. Look for it in the latest edition of Public Services Quarterly; specifically Volume 12, Issue 3, pages 271-276.
Classes started this week, I wrapped up my virtual summer internship with NIH/NLM, and when I walked to work this morning the air was crisp and chill. Fall is coming, summer is ending. This will have to go down in the books as one of my most productive summers ever. Last bit of fun--Afropunk 2016. This weekend.
